 Message from the principal:

I would like to take this opportunity to express how excited I am to be a part of the Eagle family. Douglas High School is truly a special place where our faculty and staff take ownership over the success of our students. We are committed to offering our students a rich educational experience where they can pursue whatever dreams they may have.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in one of our many AP programs or to take college courses through one of our local community colleges. Marshall County offers some of the strongest career tech programs in the state and the majority of our students choose to participate in one of those programs either on campus or at Marshall Technical School. Douglas High School is also proud to offer our students the opportunity to participate in one or more of our many athletic programs or to participate in our choral or band program. Finally, we offer our students a variety of clubs in which to participate.

Research tells us that kids who are actively involved in school are far more likely to graduate so we encourage all of our students to get involved! If I can ever be of any assistance, feel free to contact me.

Thank you and Go Eagles!

Patrick Smith
