Brian Sauls

I am excited to be a Douglas Eagle and serve as Assistant Principal at Douglas High School. I attended Berry College on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a bachelor of science in Biology in 2001. I received my master's in education from Auburn University in 2003. I began my career as an educator in Harris County, Ga. where I taught and coached for two years before coming back to Alabama. I taught and coached at Brindlee Mountain and Albertville Middle School before coming to Douglas. I am entering my 18th year in education and I truly love what I do. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate degree in educational leadership from Samford University.

I am married to Beth Sauls and we have two children, Caleb and Caroline. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and watching sports. Please contact me if I can help in any way. Go Eagles!
