Eagle Week 2018

EAGLE WEEK

April 9th-13th

Rules and Regulations

As stated in the student handbook, alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated.  Any class that is practicing on the school campus MUST have a sponsor with them at all times.  Practices and work away from the school property does not require a school sponsor, but is encouraged.  The student handbook answers most questions concerning behavior.  The faculty will be expected to attend all the events of this week.

It is imperative that teachers call role on time during the first few minutes of the first period class each day.  Students should be in their first period class for this!!  No student should be counted absent because they are in a different classroom!!

**Students may work on lip syncs, props, etc. throughout the day with permission/chaperone of a sponsor.

All areas of competition will be based on a 4-point scale:

            1st place………………..4 points

            2nd place……………….3 points

            3rd place………………..2 points

            4th place………………...1 point

Monday April 9th through Friday April 13th there will be Hiding of the eagles.  The clues will be given at random times during the day per our daily activities.

Each class will have their own “eagle”.  Seniors-red, Juniors-white, Sophomores-black, Freshmen-blue and there is a silver/gold eagle.  The sophomores will hide the senior’s eagle, the seniors will hide the sophomore’s eagle.  The freshmen will hide the junior’s eagle, and the juniors will hide the freshmen’s eagle.  All students can search for the eagle’s. All eagle’s MUST be hidden on the high school campus.  Only students that are in grades 9-12 are eligible to look for and find the eagle’s.  Parents and siblings that are not in the high school cannot look for eagle’s.  No one except DHS students will be allowed to look for eagle’s.
